Cathy Lutes, The only information I have on this family I gathered from "Lentz Heritage". I certainly would appreciate any help you can give. I have George Ludwig and William Sr. Sifford as brothers. George had Abraham who md. Margaret Lentz (I have this family group sheet). They had Sophia who md. Peter Peeler. William Jr. md. Elizabeth Lentz. Both Lentz girls were daughters of Bastian Lentz. On another note, legend in my family in southern Illinois, was an "old man Lutz" who lived on Elko Road had a diary he kept when his ancester and mine (Dewalt ? Lentz) made the trip from Germany to the Americas. I talked to every Lutz descendent in Elko, Ill in 1994, but no one knows. They also didn't know much about their ancestry.
