James Franklin Gaither (b. Dec.12, 1816,NC; d. Dec. 7, 1893, Cannon Co.,TN) married about 1821 Amelia "Melly" Lovelace (b. Dec. 6, 1823, NC; d. Mar. 28, 1864, Cannon Co., TN). I believe they married in NC. Family tradition says Amelia was the daughter of Amos and Tabitha Elizabeth (Tomlinson) Lovelace. Can anyone help with proof of Amelia's parents? She did have a brother Elam and she named a daughter Tabitha Elizabeth. Thanks, Necia Kelly
