Mathias Carpenter was born about 1750-1755 prob in PA. He married Elizabeth Miller in Rowan Cty NC and is found in the Surry Cty 1786 census. They later moved on to Ashe County and lived out their lives. Their daughter, Frances, was b. 1771 and married William Davis. Margaret was b. 1784 and married Jonathan Miller and Jacob was born about 1779. My husband descends from Jacob. I would like to know when Mathis married and who Elizabeth's parents were. I really have only a few dates as years and no actual places for most of these people. Can anyone help? Audrey
