There's a terrific Klutz book (Descendants of Jacob Klotz) in the N.C. state library in Raleigh: I'd buy a copy if I had the money. It's a very thorough description and delineation of the family from 1500s Germany onwards. Dora was from the area of the Union Co., NC - Cabarrus Co., NC border, as was her husband. (My grandfather Long was born in Brief, just barely inside Union County.) Her father was Julius Caesar Klutz, who had Confederate service. I have very little information on her family. (I haven't been able to get to the N.C. state library since 1995: Raleigh is a long way from eastern SC (where I used to live) and I'm now in extreme western SC, which is even further.)
