Entered 2 Mar 1801. I did not find SPOOLMAN on the early Tax Lists, however Rowan Co. Tax Lists for 1815 by Jo White Linn, pg. 39 Tax List of Capt. Ijames Co. for the year 1815 SPOOLMAN, Ephraim 1 wp 0 bp 103 1/2 acres Also consider the name SPILLMAN for which there are land entries for Harmon SPILLMAN and a short history of the RECTOR and SPILLMAN families of Fauquier and Grayson Co., VA who came to Rowan Co. together.
