    3. I have a copy of a North Carolina Land Grant map that show a grant of land made to Squire Boone in 1753. This land straddles Dutchman's Creek and is down stream of the union with Buffalo Creek and upstream of the union with Elisha Creek. The map is entitled "Davie County Land Grants by Andrew Lagle 1976". The map states "Copies of the map are available from the Davie County Public Library. Box 158, Mocksville, N.C. 27028." Maybe this will confirm Squire's lived in NC in the 1750.
