James Dejarnett) 1818 son Amos born Lexington Co., KY 1820 Madison Co., KY Census 1824 Madison Co., KY tax list, not in 1825 tax list 1828 land is deeded to him in Boone Co. MO 1830 Oct 17, Boone Co., MO, Estate Files, Vol 11, Allen & John Coats were purchasers at the sale of the estate and property and misc. items of Thomas Croswaite. 1831 Jan 12, Allen and Henry went to Cths. & had their brands recorded in Boone Co. Cths. By Clerk Warren W. Woodson 1832 bought land from James Goforth dated 8 Jan 1829 1850 Dec 12, Howard Co., MO, lost discharge papers - makes statement of fact to Justice of Peace Joseph Carey that he was in the war of 1812 for the purpose of obtaining bounty land. 1855 Apr 7, deeds land to son James Coats - no mention of Allen's wife 1855 Aug 20, applies for additional bounty land from Clerk of Boone Co., MO 1855 Nov, applies for additional bounty from govt. 1860 Boone Co., Rockyfork TWP on census, living with son James 1870 Boone Co., TWP # 50, Living with son Amos 1870 Newspaper article on Allen being 100 years old 1871 Jul 20, Hallsville, Boone Co. MO, Declaration for Pension. He receives pension. 1872 Allen dies at 102 Years. Allen and Betsy had six children: John Harmon, Ann, Amos, Susanna, James & Sally.
