On the LDS search site I found an entry for Zilpah HALL which shows her birth 12 Aug 1801 in Contentea Mm, Wayne, North Carolina. Notice the "Mm" after Contentnea. Is it possible that should be "MM'" indicating a Quaker settlement? Where is Wayne, NC? This Zilpah Hall could later be married and show on Guilford Co NC census reports as Zilpah PACE; she was around 50 in the 1850 census. Some of her family came to Rowan around 1843-44.
