    3. Dallas-- I have 2 books, both reprints: An Abstract of North Carolina Wills 1760-1800, Supplementing Grimes'..., by Fred A. Olds, 1983 Abstract of North Carolina Wills, By J. Bryan Grimes, 1980 [these wills are on file in State Archives, as before about 1800 it was required that they were sent to the state (in NC) & some were probated from the state level I understand. Olds not indexed but alpha by 1st letter of surname, then chrono, under each county. The closest in Rowan, Eller, Jacob d. 1782 names Jacob, Barbara & Elizabeth, relationship not mentioned. If you think of another Co., I can check that Grimes has good index, but nothing on your names excep: Mary Ellis, Executor & guardian for her son is Thomas Clarke. Witnesses: Elizabeth Wilson, Ellis Wilson & John Wilson. No probate. No date & No county given. I don't think these are who you're looking for.
