    3. Hi Everyone, Does anyone happen to have information on Wendell MILLER, b: abt. 1729 in Germany and, especially his first wife, supposed daughter of Blackhawk? Am especially interested in their son, Frederick MILLER (b: 1756, Rowan Co, wife: Margaret BRAUN.) "Tradition" has it that Frederick was killed, somewhere in Kentucky, by the Indians while helping to lead a wagon train to Washington Co, IN from North Carolina. On both the 1790 and 1800 Rowan Co census I have found a Frederick MILLER listed along with many other people who did migrate to Washington Co, IN ... some as early as 1806 (George BECK.) One FTM cd states that Wendel MILLER arrived in PA from Rotterdam in 1754 (ship "Brothers") and was in Rowan Co by 1756 when his first child was born. He was in the Rev. War pursing "Tories and Cherokee Indians" and had originally worshipped at Old Hickory church and later helped to build Organ Church....owned 2400 acres with many slaves in Rowan Co. None of this has been documented by me. Mainly found the information in the FTM cd's, plus some "tradition" handed down. I believe there may have been a book published quite some time ago about Wendell MILLER and his family? Thanks. Marsha McWilliams
