Would appreciate correspondence re the following, 1) Johann Jacob Wagner b 24 Aug 1717,Germany.He received 720 acres on the "north fork of Brushy Fork Creek",24 July 176?.This maybe near Bethany and Bethedsa,Davidson Co,Nc.Apparently,some of this family migrated to Lincoln(changed to Moore) Co,Tn.Joe A Waggoner b 1882,d 1950,Moore Co,Tn.He married Minnie Grammer.He died Nov 1799 2)Peter Caspe b 12 Sept 1781,Rowan Co,Nc.Married to Esther Fullenwider 23 June 1784.Migrated to Union Co,Il,where he died,abt 1860.He was a farmer,fruit grower,who amassed hundreds of acres in Union Co.He donated land for a Casper Church/Cemetery.Apparently,he was of the Reformed Faith? Are there any records extant,in Old Rowan,of that Church? 3) Peter Davis b ca 1778,Rowan Co.There,married,Elizabeth Sutley?,9 Apr 1811. Union Co,Il.Two other Davis men also went to Union Co,Il.Edward Davis married Anna Knupp 22 Dec 1801,George Davis b ca 1781,married Catherine Trexler 23 jan 1804 As some of you,know,there was a mass migration from Old Rowan to Union Co,Il,say between 1818-1840.The remarkable thing,is,not too many other people came,later.If you look at a Anna(Union Co,Il)phone book,you'd think,you're in Old Rowan.
