However, in searching for the European origins of my ancestor, Conrad Yoder, who emigrated from PA to the current Catawba, NC area in the mid 1750s, I have been trying to check out the origins of other passengers on the ship Neptune on which he arrived at Philadelphia on Oct 25, 1746. On the above passenger list was a Henry Eller. Also of interest is that Valentine Leonhardt was on the same ship. Then, in the 1790 NC census, there is a George Eller listed near a Valentine Leonhardt (the son of the immigrant). Valentine Leonhardt lived in what is now Davidson County, and was associated with Pilgrim Reformed Church there.
