I have made a new Barrier discovery in my family and I wondered if anyone might have access to info regarding Wills for Rowan Co? From the below I would presume that Catherine Barrier left a Will. I have found the following: "This indenture made the seventh day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifteen between Daniel Leatherman Esq and Executor to the last will and testament of Catherine Barrier deceased, relick and widow of Rheadus Barrier deceased of the county of Rowan and state of North Carolina of one part and Henry Grimes of the same county and state aforesaid of the other part. (It goes on but primarily describes the land as being situated on Reedy Creek) Any help would be much appreciated. Stephanie
