Searching ole Rowan county for Maternal GGG Grandfather Ezekiel CLOUD, b.14 March 1762 m. Elizabeth Jones HARMON(HARRISON?) in Oglethorpe co, GA, 26 Jan 1804. Father: Jeremiah CLOUD b. "abt. 1720 either New Castle co,DE or Front Royal, Warren co, VA"(Two different pedigrees have different locations!) Only mention in NC so far of Jeremiah is in old Surry county land grant application: "Jeremiah CLOUD's entry running down said creek . . . Jan 27, 1779 (Warrant granted to R.L.)" .. . . the creek runs N to S in the middle of Stokes co. today near county seat of Danbury.
