Hi Group, I am looking for information of the parents of Major Thomas Blair, born 1738, who married Jane Ruth in about 1763 in old Rowan County, North Carolina. His name was John Blair, but that is about all I know about him. A book named after this John Blair of Guilford County was written in 1979, but very little is stll known about this John Blair. Any help would be appreciated. I am also looking for information on John Cockrell, that married Nancy Anne Winstead. They lived in what is now Nash County, NC. Any info on this family would be appreciated. I also need info about William Green that lived on Hillsborough, Orange County, NC where he married Kezziah Patton there in 1781. They moved to Burke County, NC about 1783 after if was formed from old Rowan County, NC.
