Am researching,Peter Davis, b ca 1778,Old Rowan Co,maybe Davidson Co,NC.He married Elizabeth Sutley,Rowan co.Had a son,Wm b 1825,and a daughter,Margaret.They migrated to Union Co,IL before 1830.Earlier,Edward & Anna Knupp Davis,and George and Catherine Trexler Davis,also went to Union Co,Il.Since the 1818-1840 migration from Rowan to Union Co,Il,there was little other families to Union Co,Il,so that today,Union Co,Il is still peopled by these individuals.
