    3. Thanks for the tip. I will look for the Hofmann bk. My DETTRO/DETTERER... fam was in Mocksville area of Rowan Co, NC by 1780, probably of Frederick Co, MD and prev of PA. The guy I am trying to connect from Rowan Co to prev residence in MD is a Balzar/Bathalzer DETERO ca 1755-1801 Mocksville and wf Elizabeth. Any advice appreciated.
