Perhaps you need to consider an intermediate location in KY, between NC and MO. I am interested in William SMITH who married Elizabeth NEAT (dau of J. Rudolph NIEDT/NEAT/NAT/NEET, Jr, and the Moravian Margareth FREY) in Rowan Co NC 1802. Their son, William Henry SMITH (b. 1818 Adair Co. KY, d. 1894 Carroll Co.
