    3. Hello, everyone. Please pardon the cross-post, but it seemed the thing to do, under the circumstances, which will be evident, as we go. Jane H. GIVENS is one of my GxGM, b. 19th-June-1790 in either Lincoln Co., KY, or possibly Rowan Co., NC. (thus the cross post) I do not have any info about her, either the names of her parents, or any of the other many details of her life. She was the wife of James DINWIDDIE, married 11-June-1811, and died 26-Sept-1869 in Haywood Co., TN. The 1860 census of Tennessee shows her located in Gibson Co., TN., living with her son. Since the DINWIDDIE family is said to have been located in Greene Co., TN., can anyone tell me about the boundaries of Greene Co.??? Was Greene Co. (in early days) much larger than it is, today?? One comment I have heard said is that the boundaries of Greene Co. were almost as big as the boundaries of the whole state, at one time! Anything is possible, of course!! And there is little to tell, if she was born in Rowan Co., NC, because I have not found any info about her, to prove it true or otherwise!! However, I am most willing to learn any facts about the GIVENS family, in either Kentucky, Tennessee or North Carolina!! Come on, good friends, and let me know what you can tell me!! I will surely appreciate that!! Some later info about her descendants is available, for sure!!
