He died very early in the war, July 19, 1776, so his wife didn't qualify for a pension (or never applied for one). I am unable to find proof of his service. I have looked at books about regiments from NC & his name isn't in any of them. He could possibly have been in a regiment from Rowan Co. Does anyone have any idea where I can go from here?
