My 4xgreatgrandmother was Polly Dedmon born 11-13-1785 or 86. She had a son named Jacob Wolf 11-1-1798 his father was listed as unknown Wolf. Polly's parents were Mark Dedmon and Hannah Bailey. They lived in Rowan County. There was another Jacob Wolf that was on the 1790 Census of Rowan County as well as a Michael Wolf. My question is does anyone have a book or any info of Rowan County that might give me some info as to who my Jacob Wolf's father was. I believe that the other Jacob Wolf may be the father or Michael Wolf. I don't have an age on either one of these Wolf's as it is not shown on the Census. Can anyone help me?
