Dear Cherie, There were 2 different families of Todds in old Rowan County. One came from PA in abt 1769, Benjamin Todd and his brothers Caleb , Thomas and John, and maybe Joseph. They were in the part of Rowan that became Davidson. Benjamin and his sons and some of the others moved on to Madison Co. KY in the 1790s, but some stayed. The other Todds were west of the Yadkin and there was a John and a Thomas but I did not follow that line. They may both have been related. Have you tried Worldconnect on Rootsweb, or the Todd mailing list yet? There is a lot about them on World Connect, but some mistakes too. I even found myself given as a source of some of the incorrect info. I must remember to try to find that and let the person know. Betty
