In my area (SW Virginia), this group is also know as German Baptist. Although not being orginially from this area, I'm not sure if this is because they are the same religious/cultural group or because other people don't know the difference. This group wears the clothing similar to the Amish but many do use at least some modern conveniences and even the women take jobs in the local workforce. Sarah Goodman
