I have been neglecting my research for quite a while now, and have just gotten back to it. I have been working on this line for quite a while now: 1. Abraham Myers m. Mary Harris McRorie on 27 Aug 1859 in Rowan County. They had four children that I know of, Grizelle Underwood Myers, Margaret Myers, Henry Myers and John Myers. 2. Mary Harris McRorie (b.c. 1839 in Davie County) was the daughter of John McRorie b.c. 1802) and Margaret S. McKenzie (b.c. 1821). Information here is iffy, but I believe, according to census information, that he was born out of the country, but other information says Warren/Warrenton. Margaret was born, I believe, in the US. Their children were Mary (above), John Jr., Maria Cowan, Martha Elizabeth, Thomas Archibald, Margaret Lydia White and William. 3. Margaret S. McKenzie (the "S" is, alternately, Simmianna and Suzannah) was the daughter of Charles Cummin McKenzie and Mary M. Savitz. He, I believe, was born in Cuba...I have no idea how he got there. I am very interested in any information on any of these folks, particularly Abraham, who is a dead end to end all dead ends. I am also very interested in information to flesh out these names and numbers. I would love to go to NC to do some research, but I live in Arkansas and it won't happen for a while yet. (My job interferes with my life on a regular basis.) I have a little more information on some of the other families, but don't want to bore those of you with no connection.
