Dear Cookie, I am struggling with GEDCOM myself. But some help is located within the LDS resources file at www.familysearch.org. There is a link also to a PAF user's page which gives some information also. If you have downloaded PAF 4.0, there is also a PAF User's Guide that can be downloaded with it, but you have to also download Adobe Reader to use it. None of these have really answered all my questions about GEDCOM. I am considering re-enrolling in the PAF-4 mailing list to get further help.
