Hal, These two are still mysteries. I suspect that Susan might be from the bunch of Propst in Pendleton Co., now WV. Jacob has to be from or related to John Dettero or Totherow and Mary Hoffman that m. in 1775 - they had one son Michael b. 1776 in Shenandoah Co., VA. This bunch were in Burke and Lincoln Counties, NC. Another son, Jacob b. c. 1790 b. LC NC or somewhere around McMinn Co., TN. It appears that they were scampering back and forth from NC to TN from VA or WV. Ann K.
