I am very interested in getting some information about Bear Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. I have hit a roadblock of many years on my ggg grandfather Thomas D. Gibbs. We know that he died in Rowan County in 1836, but we have been unable to find his resting place. Could someone check the Bear Creek Church cemetery book and see if possibly Thomas D. Gibbs is listed. Thanks in advance for any information on this person. He has proved to be very elusive.
