I believe it was on this mail group that there was a note about a trial for Ivy Ritchie to be held with the Ntional Park Service. I attended the mock trial this past Wednesday. The mock trial concerning a tombstone in the Poplar Grove National Cemetery that has labeled a J Richie 14th NY Co H instead of what is to believed to be I. Ritchie of 14th NC Co H has been won by the Sons of Confederte Veterans Camp Ivy Ritchie. In 2012 when all tombstones in the cemetery will be replaced, this one stone will show Ivy Ritchie of 14th NC Co H. Each "side" was given 1 hour to present their case.
