Hi Betty, I am sorry, I don't know who the father/parents of Abner Hall was.? You do have the county correct for this Abner Hall and Nancy Howard, they?were married in Rowan County, NC 31 Oct. 1825.? I have a Samuel Hall in my ancestry, born about 1717 in Chester County, PA and made his will 20 Feb. 1793 in Rowan County, NC, Will Book E, page 127.? He had two sons who were named in his will, Abraham (my ancestor) and George.? Abraham Hall had three sons, Isaac (my ancestor), Moses, and Abah. There was at least one other unrelated, as far as I know, Hall family in Rowan County, NC. I realize this may have no bearing on this conversation but I have a Thomas Hall (Rowan County) in my Sloan family. In looking at my notes I see that Abner Davidson married Elizabeth Hall.
