    3. You have apparently confused two different Bryan settlements. The Bryan families were in the vicinity of the Yadkin River which flows southeast out of the Blue Ridge Mountains in present NC. This family later moved to Kentucky and established a settlement there. These two Bryan settlements were probably two hundred miles apart. The one in NC was established between 1750 and 1770. The one in Kentucky (A part of Va at the the time) was established after 1774. The Bryan and Boone families were related and moved to the same areas in NC and KY. G.
