I have a copy of the 1990 reprint edition, and the list of names of the 160 people who were to appear to show why their estates shouldn't be confiscated is not included ( p. 170). Rumple says they can be found on "Minute Docket of Rowan Inferior Court of February, 1783, volume 1778-86. I'm also interested in learning the identity of those people. Barbara Cantrell '
