    2. Kathy Conard
    3. Hi, All-- Looking for information on the BRANDON, ARMSTRONG, CATHEY, KNOX, and LOCK/E families, etc. in Rowan County. Any help greatly appreciated. I'm especially interested in proving the father and mother of James Brandon, born abt. 1734 in PA and moved to Rowan Co. mid 1700s where he died in 1790 and is buried at Thyatira Church Cemetery, Rowan Co., NC. James was the father of Benjamin Brandon an American Revolutionary Patriot. James' father has been written by many past researchers as John Brandon Jr. married to Mary Cathey, 1739 in PA and later moved to Rowan Co. I would like to prove or disprove this information. I have solid proofs on my line up through James and would be happy to share and/or exchange info. Would love to hear from any other researchers working any of these lines. Kathy Conard Ft. Lauderdale, FL katcay@earthlink.net
