Do you know where Neuberg is? If it is along the Volga, it may well have been named after your Neu family. My understanding is that many villages were named after their first "Mayor". I am looking for information about my Grandfather, Adam Roth, b. 1890 in the Saratov province in the Volga area, but I don't know which village. His parents were Peter and Mary Roth. Any information would be appreciated!
