His wife's name was Leonora PRITCHETT. Two of his brothers married two of Leonora's sisters. I only have children info on three of his 12 sibs : the eldest brother, Johnathan Griest, his next to youngest brother, Jonas Spatch (my gr-grandfather) and his youngest brother, Albert Maywood. Do you know where in IL. your Herbert was born? My ROTHs had a family farm in the Brocton/Paris area of Edgar Co. IL. (mid-state on the eastern border). William H. was b. 6-26-1839...1903 minus 1839 = 64 years difference, so Herbert couldn't have been a son...possibly a grandson...my grandfather, Richard Edgar b. 1877 (Jonas's son. William's nephew) had children from 1900 to 1919. Herbert would be of Richard's children's generation. So Herbet's father would have to have been a son of my William H.
