He was married to a Matilda Louis. Their daughter or possibly granddaughter Matilda roth who married an Edwin Strauss. The latter resided in Pa. until some kind of panic in the 1830's and then they moved to Tiffin, Fairfield, Oh. they had three daughters. The girls were Alice, Ida and Anna Louisa.
