He was born abt 1862 in Germany and died Jan. 24, 1906 in Norwalk, Huron County Ohio He married Christine Hunkley dau. of Albert Hunkley Sept. 2, 1884 in Huron Ohio. His final record of naturalization was from Probate Court Huron Oh. on Nov. 7, 1887. I'm trying to find out when Martin came to the United States and if any other family members came with him. He was not yet a citizen when he married so I think possibly he had not been here long enough to apply for citizenship (I think it's 5 years). I checked the many volumes of "Germans to America" going back as far as his birth year and could not find him. I do have a copy of his death certificate, it says he was a taylor by occupation, he was born in Germany and his parents are not listed. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
