However, I just found the Lat. & Long. yesterday and haven't had a chance to see exactly how far south of Berlin that town is located. My earliest ROTHs were Caspar & Elizabeth FERGER_ROTH. Caspar was b. there in 1745. They were in America (Berks Co. PA.) by 1781 (when their first child was born). It's taken me just over 3 years (online) to find my ROTH line's country of origin and I am online every day...but that time frame is a relative "newbie" one, so as I go along, I pick up new search tips all the time...it's getting easier ! {:-) As anyone goes along, they/you have more and more people helping them/you search. I was in contact with two other ROTH researchers for two years, who had similar data, data that COULD fit in with my data?, but we couldn't find the definitive connection...until I searched through the WorldConnect sites...(something that I had inadvertantly put off doing all these last 3 years...???...don't ask why...can't tell you...). And there was the definitive connection !...a fourth ROTH researcher, Stephen SALISBURY, who had ALL our ROTHs in one family ! I haven't asked Stephen exactly WHEN he got his site online...quite possibly, my search at WorldConnect just happened at the right time !??? The point is: it DID happen !
