Gail, Unfortunately, this is all I have on the family. It's been a brick wall for me for over two years. I got this info from Harry Lamont Roth's Kentucky death certificate, which listed his place of birth as Pennsylvania, but no town. Trouble is, birth records for that period (if available at all) can only be had from the counties. And since I don't know the name of either the town or the county, I would have to search all X-number of county records in PA. I don't even know for certain whether Harry's parents' names were Charles and Sarah. I've just been told that was so. Also, there's a question whether Sarah's maiden name was Miller or Mueller. Kentucky family lore has it that Harry was "Pennsylvania Dutch". And that's about all I know about his origins. The only way to know the parent's names for certain is to get ahold of Harry's birth certificate. "Harry Lamont"is not a common name combination. So I'm sure if I could find where in Pennsylvania the family lived, I could locate the birth or Christening records.
