My Grandfather was John Roth b.1879, Son of Fredrick ROTH (d. 1884-brother of Samuel-both from "Swiss Germany") and Lydia WOODS(d1930). His siblings names were : Fred b.1867 Charles b. 1872 Sam b.1875 Harry b.1877 James b1883 Edward b 1887 I don't know how "TJ" fits into this, but possibly a connection

    3. My George W. Roth was born March 14, 1846 in Germany, settled first in Pittsburgh, served in the Civil War, moved to Wood Co. WV, married Margaret Rost, had 10 children, then later moved to Townville, Crawford Co. PA where he died in Sept. 1921. His son, George W. Roth, Jr. was my grandfather. There sure were/are a lot of George W. Roths! (All named after George Washington I guess (?).     3. I'm looking for any information anyone might have about Irving ROTH, my grandfather. According to family lore, he was born in Warsaw and came to the US in about 1913. I found what may be his entry as a child entering through Ellis Island. He grew up in NY (Brooklyn) and then moved to California in the mid 30s, died in late 50s. He is believed to have a brother who went from Europe to Australia. Original name for my grandfather was Itzhak RUTKIEWITZ. He also went by Iggy. Thank you. Gary Sandler

Roth that was my gr uncle. He was born in Washington County Ohio (Marietta?) to Samuel Roth and Charlotte Tice Roth. Samuel and Charlotte had three children: Sarah E., Charles F., and George W. They were all born between 1870 and 1875. Does this fall in line with yours? I do not know where George W. Roth lived after he was born. Rene.
