Care Center. She was born Jan. 19, 1931, in Ballantine to Henry and Louise (Roth) Gabel. Irene was the oldest of five girls who were left orphaned after a car accident took their parents' lives in 1947. She was preceded in death by her sister Marion Wickstrom in 1985. Survivors include her son Ray Evans of Amboy, Wash.; two daughters, Jackie Evans and Denise Heitz of Kalama; three sisters, Dorothy Harrington of Florence, Judy Dudley of Lolo and Janice Evans of Glenoma, Washington.

In 1910 GGM was living with Louise & Charles Rooke in Philadelphia, PA Louise married Charles Jefferson Rooke at Harper Memorial Church, Philadelphia, PA. One child, Alice Lee Rooke b. 1906, Philadelphia. Alice Lee Rooke married Stefan Edward Bauer III Jul 17, 1938 in Vermont Ave. Presbyterian Church in Los Angeles, CA. The lived in Allentown, PA where I was born, Virginia Lee Bauer, Oct. 24, 1939. William Henry Roth married Agnes ? had 2 children Leonard and Agnes. Agnes married John ? had 2 daughters Barbara & ?

I have a little more information then when I posted the 1st time on the Roth board. Adolph was born in Germany in 1826 & came to America in 1855. Adolph married Sabina Nagle (born in Pennsylvania) in 1856. Adolph & Sabina had 4 Children: Mary born: 1857, died: unknown. Mary later went on to marry a Erbein Or Herbein (last name). Adam born: 1863 & died: unknown (He was still alive at the time of Harry's Funeral). Adam might have been married to a woman with the 1st name of Clara. If so they had 4 daughters as of the 1910 census Harry Rolandis Roth born: April 07, 1870 died: Feb. 10, 1946 John Roth born: April 07, 1870 died: unknown Adolph died before Sabina remarried in 1878 to Louis Urbam. Sabina was still living as of the 1910 census. The story I heard over the Summer was when Adolph came to America a Brother came with. (Name unknown) Adolph's Brother stayed awhile in America but later on went back to Germany. Reason being He thought the Women in America had to much freedom. I think my Mother's Cousin had said Adolph &/or his Brother had a store in Lehigh Co. (not sure though) I also have a picture of Adolph that my Aunt has. My Aunt didn't know till this yr. it was a picture of Adolph Roth.

They were both in their early teens at the time. His uncle's name was William married to Emma with a son Henry John. My father says this is the only relatives his family had. I have been searching endlessly for info on my grandfather, Charles Frederick Roth b.1882 in Phila.Pa. Could Charles Frederick be a brother to William Frederick? Where was William Frederick born?
