My MACKIE family belonged to the Free Church, i.e. were 'wee frees'. I have a photo of the Kilmuir Easter Church which is where Mary MACKIE and James DEAS were married. I realise that there is probably more than one church in this area but this is a rectangular stone building (possibly 15th century) and has an older building with a tower attached, at one end. Can anyone tell me if this is or was a Free Church? Regards Helen Herbert
