Hi Listers, I'm searching information about my 4x-great grandfather, Donald ROSS. He was a Loyalist during the American Revolution and was evacuated from New York at the end of the war. He was with the group that was transported to Guysborough, Nova Scotia in 1783. Donald was granted land as well as a town lot near the church in Guysborough in 1784. Donald's wife's name was Ann MORRIS, daughter of Richard MORRIS, also a Loyalist. I'm trying to learn where Donald came from in Scotland, when he was born and died, who his ancestors and siblings were, and which unit he served with during the war. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. ~~~Pam Outgoing mail scanned by Norton Antivirus 2004
