Hello everyone. I am new to this list and I am looking for any information on Janet (or Jessie) Davidson, born in Tain about 1830, ( I'm not sure about this as two censuses give different ages, it could have been 1824). She married a William Davies,( I cannot find a marriage in England, but it is possible they married in Scotland), They were living in Birmingham in 1881 and 1891 but none were on the 1901 census. I believe Janet had a brother named Duncan. Could anyone tell me if there is a register office in Tain where I may be able to find any information. Best regards, John.
