Lachie: Would Plockton have been the likely location of the car ferry my wife and I took in 1982 to Skye, or would there have been several operating at the time? Plockton has appeared in several movies and TV series, famously in the cult movie 'The Wicker Man', and is famed for it's beautiful aspect and the palm trees that skirt around the bay on its main street (no really).
