    3. Avoch is north of Inverness, on the northern shore of the Moray Firth. It is on the land mass known as the Black Isle which sits between the Moray Firth, to its south, and the Cromarty Firth to its north. East Coast of Scotland. Lochs, I think, belongs to the Isle of Lewis, not a place but an area or parish name. Have just looked at Parloc and found two Lochs. 1st is in Ross and Cromarty, OS ref. NB which is Lewis. 2nd Moray, OS ref. NJ which is the area of the Grampian Mountains, north side. Head east from Loch Ness or west from Aberdeen. Hope that helps. Can recommend Parloc, came free on a magazine, probably downloadable. Tina
