Sorry I didn't get back to you straight away. On her death certificate it appears her parents names were Hector & Margaret.. She was born around 1828 in Ross-shire. According to the New South Wales govt immigrant index 1844 - 1859, she arrived in Australia in 1854 on the St Helena as an assisted passenger. It quotes her age as 30 and makes no mention of any family travelling with her like the other passengers travelling on the same ship. She married Janes Desborough Hinton in 1856. He travelled out from Lincolnshire in England. They had four children that I know of Elizabeth, Margaret, Hector & James. That's all I know, Gordon. She was my great great grandmother.
