    3. Hi Lawrence Sorry, Lawrence I hit the 9 instead of the 8 and the same with the 5 & the 4. I sometimes type the vowels back to front. Anyway have now retyped it! Thank you for your patience. Trying to find any information on Helen McCulloch born around 1828 in Ross-shire. According to the NSW government immigration records she came to Australia in 1854 on the St Helena as an assisted passenger. It doesn't say whether she travelled alone or with her family. She married my great great grandfather James Desborough Hinton in NSW Australia in 1856. Her parents names may have been Hector & Margaret. Any information on her would be very much appreciated. 2. Y Milroy
    3. Hi I'm looking for info on my 2nd great-grandmother's family. Her parents' names were WILLIAM SCARLETT and MARGARET MURRAY. Siblings - all born in Stornoway - that I've found so far are: Norman Scarlett, born June 28, 1823 Annabell Scarlett, born August 2, 1824 Anne Scarlett, born May 14, 1828 Margaret Scarlett, born June 7, 1830 (my 2nd great grandmother) Norman Murray Scarlett, born June 7, 1833 Margaret Scarlett married James Milroy in Sandhurst, Victoria, Australia in December, 1863, and then they travelled together on the S. S. Great Victoria to Kirkcudbright where they lived until he died in 1901. Both the Assisted Immigration to Victoria list and the Unassisted Immigration list give the same details for a Margaret Scarlett: SCARLETT MARGARET 28 SEP 1860 WANATA 13 741 SCARLETT MARGARET 28 SEP 1860 WANATA 13A 92 Is anyone else researching Scarletts from that area?
