Hello list: I just joined this list and hope it is the correct one as I don't have any idea where my gggrandfather lived on the Isle of Lewis. I have Donald MACDONALD b. abt. 1803, Lewis, Scotland He married Euphemia MORRISON b. 1810 Lewis, Scotland. They came to Nova Scotia, Canada in 1828. It states on her headstone that she came with her parents so I guess they weren't married at the time. They settled at Estmere in Cape Breton. I would sure like to find a long lost cousin in Scotland. I look forward to hearing from you. Evelyn in very wet Cape Breton.
