    3. Hello Tina, Thank you for looking. I don't know about the other suggestions (I'll have to do some followup) but the last one with wife Margaret and sister Christina are correct. I received a reply earlier from Hilary so went back to Scotlands People and found the marriage for Alexander and Margaret (m/s MacDonald) in Dingwall in 1863. Alexander and older children of this family were born in Lochbroom, and the younger ones starting with my great grandfather Duncan were born in Contin, although none of them are on the Contin OPR film. As adults they seem to be confused as to their ages. Christina should have been about 50-51 really. Thank you again Win MacKenzie Victoria, BC >Do you know where they were born? > >Ann age 36 born Kinlochluiachart, wife of Duncan Mackenzie with son William age 9 mo, living at Strathbran, Contin > >Ann Mackenzie age 40, born Applecross Domestic servant, not married, at Kerkan, Contin > >Janet age 50 born Dingwall, not married, crofter of 6 Ac. at Muir of Highfield, Logie Wester with an idiot brother Donald > >Janet Mackenzie age 52 born Contin, not married, Housekeeper at Coul House, Contin. > >Alexander Mackenzie age 58 born Gairloch, married to >Isabella age 52 born Contin, at New Buildings Contin, with family Abigail 20, Alex 18, Henry 16, John 14, James 11 all born Contin. > >Alexander Mackenzie age 54 born Lochbroom, married to >Margaret age 44 born Kilmorack >with sister Christina age 36 born Lochbroom all at Surfaceman's house, Contin. > >Some other mentions of surfaceman's house have the word "railway" also. > >Hope this of some help > >
