    3. Hello All My son and his wife from Sydney have just left after a brief two week stay here in Pinetown,South Africa. One morning was spent going around the small local cemetaries which have a number of graves of British soldiers and other nationalities(Canadian and Australian) from the Zulu War and Boer War. For the first time I even visited the cemetary at the Mariannhill Monastry and discovered a further eight soldiers graves from the Boer War as well as other facinating graves. However, the following two specific graves may be of interest to someone on the lists to which I subscribe - they are in the St. John's Church cemetary. 1) George MUNRO b.Saltburn,Invergordon 22 May 1845 d.9 March 1923. wife Selina Jane b. Ormiston,Haddingtonshire 14 December 1852 d. 29 March 1938. 2) Samuel Edgar Thompson ......husband of Mary McMurry b. Parkhead,Kirkpatrick,Scotland. Hope someone finds a missing relative. Douglas
